About me
My name is Josef Vormoor. I work as a pediatric hemato-oncologist and clinical director at the Princess Máxima Center in Utrecht. After my medical training in Germany, I worked as a pediatric oncologist and researcher in Münster and Newcastle upon Tyne. Since 2018, I have been committed to caring for children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at the Máxima Center.
My research focuses on how leukemia cells communicate with their surroundings in the bone marrow and how we can use that knowledge to develop new and more effective treatments.
