Janneke Van den Bergen

My name is Janneke van den Bergen, and I work as a pediatric neurologist at the Máxima Center. I trained as a neurologist (a doctor who specializes in the brain, spinal cord and nerves) and later specialized further in neurology for children. You will see me on the ward for children with a brain tumor, but also in other parts of the hospital. In addition to patient care, I am actively involved in creating, organizing and teaching educational programs. I also conduct research on the time between the first symptoms and the diagnosis of a brain tumor.
