About me
I have been a pediatric oncologist for a very long time. In the past, I treated all forms of childhood cancer, but since the opening of the Princess Máxima Center you will mostly find me on the third floor. Here, I mainly treat children with different forms of leukemia (ALL and AML). In addition, I treat children with poorly functioning bone marrow (bone marrow failure).
In the evenings, at night, or during weekends you may also see me on the stem cell transplant unit, where I do shifts and also work there for several weeks a year during the day. I always do my best to explain complicated things in a way that is as understandable as possible.
