Drs. Evelien Speel-Flierman

My name is Evelien Speel-Flierman, and I have more than 30 years of professional experience. I specialize in the treatment of psychological trauma and early childhood mental health (IMH). In this context, I work with many young children who have experienced medical trauma.

I take a systemic approach, which means I believe it is important to understand the child’s story within the broader context of the family and daily environment. Involving the family and the child’s school is therefore often an essential part of treatment. My practice is affiliated with the collaborative network ‘De Kracht van Dichtbij’.
